Bringing the right people together

By organising high-quality events, we bring together key people to engage in important discussions about your objectives – to work out how to move forward. During the pandemic PA Cooperative was quick to realise the need to move events online, while maintaining high quality content and organisation. We expect this trend to continue with more hybrid events.

Pricing & Rates

We believe in transparent, straightforward pricing. All our staff are highly experienced and professionally accredited — so you pay the same rate regardless of who you work with.

Our rate: £862.50 per day (£115 per hour)

Work is charged in half-day increments, with a minimum of half a day. Expenses — including travel, subsistence, and accommodation — are charged at cost. All fees are subject to VAT at the standard rate.

Long-term discount

For clients who commit to a minimum of 3 days per month for at least 6 months, we offer a 20% discount — bringing the rate to £690 per day (£92 per hour).

Our rates are reviewed annually and are usually uplifted in line with inflation. We will always give clients reasonable notice of any change.

Transparent and Fair Pricing

We won’t charge different rates depending on who you work with at PA Cooperative, as all our staff are highly experienced and professionally recognised. We won’t settle for anything less, and we wouldn’t ask you to either.

Of course, the total costs for any piece of work depend on what you’re looking for and the level of activity involved – so this is a general guide. We believe it’s both competitive and value for money. To get an accurate idea of what we can do for you and how much it is likely to cost, contact us and we can talk in detail about your needs.

Long-term work

Our preferred method is to work with you regularly for a pre-agreed number of days based on your requirements for our services.

This helps us to understand your business, and its needs, in more detail – particularly how to help you develop effective relationships with a range of different people and organisations.

Long-term contracts mean we can offer daily rates that are the most cost-effective for our clients. It cuts down on our administrative costs and that is reflected in the price; no account management fee is charged.

Our minimum monthly contract is for 2 days at £100 an hour, or £750 per day. That means £1,500 per month plus any expenses at cost plus VAT charged at the standard rate.

We will invoice you monthly with 15-day terms for payment. Long-term contracts are typically for 12 months duration, with a three-month ‘break’ period built-in.

Short Term Work

For short term work requiring intensive media relations support over a limited period of time, such as a weekend, the minimum time we will invoice is for 1.5 days. This will be billed at £120 an hour giving a day rate of £900 plus VAT, with a 5% account management fee in addition to this.

Additional services

Any services provided through third-party suppliers, such as photography, video production, or others, will be billed to the client separately and only with the client’s prior written approval. These additional charges will be clearly communicated and agreed upon in writing before proceeding with the services. Highlights from the Royal Highland Show

Last month, it was fantastic to return to the Royal Highland Show, where we had the pleasure of creating a short film for our client, Scottish Woodlands. Working with the superb videographer Phil Wilkinson, the team worked hard to capture the necessary footage on Day 1 (Thursday).

The final film, which we’re very proud of, was edited, uploaded and online by Friday morning – to encourage show-goers to visit the Forestry Arena and Scottish Woodlands stand. Click below to watch the final cut.

Fair funding for nurseries

My colleague Ben McLeish, a nursery owner as well as PA Cooperative Director, worked with David Lee to produce a short film highlighting unfair funding in Scotland’s nurseries. In “It’s All About The Children: Fair Funding For Scotland’s Nurseries,” David interviews nursery owners, managers, staff, and parents in four locations about their experiences and the need for change.

The video calls on Scottish Ministers to treat all children, families, and nursery workers equally. David scripted and edited the film and also hosted a successful launch event. Watch the Fair Funding for Nurseries video below.
